Barry Martin is a great Southend Musician who has kept working through thick and thin. He first shot to national recognition with the Kursaal Flyers. He appears on the Five Live Kursaals in 1977. He went on to being the head honcho at Making Waves Records. In later years he has headed up The Hamsters, who remain one of the hardest gigging bands in the land. He plays a variety of musical styles.

For Mickey Jupp a Peel Session in 1978 including Cheque Book, Switchboard Susan,
Anything You Do and Daisy Mayes. In the same year as Juppanese a compilation of
Legend material was also released. .
